Yesterday, one of my students said a guy told her he loved her, but then didn’t call or text her again after that night. I told her she dodged a bullet. Sounds like he wasn’t emotionally ready for a real relationship.

“I love you” means different things to different people. Careful communication can go a long way to saving you a lot of heartache.
