Fight back against discouragement as much as you can. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, edification, and an optimistic view of the future. Acknowledge where you’ve made mistakes, but don’t dwell in the past. Faith is for looking toward the future. The past will never change. It is set in stone. I’m certain the Lord is much more concerned with where we desire to go than where we’ve fallen. The Lord’s power is more than enough to change your sins into strengths. Ask Him to make you who He wants you to be. He can and will do it!
