Those who love the Lord seem to be coming under an increasingly relentless attack. I recently heard a very intelligent person compare belief in God to belief in holiday characters and fairytales. He rolled his eyes at those with spiritual integrity; those who held true to their experiences with divinity. A person with an experience is never at the mercy of a person with an opinion.

It hurts my heart to realize how many in this world are drifting further and further from our Heavenly Parents. Their voices seem to be increasing and the internet has given them a megaphone.

What an incredible blessing to be taught and uplifted by true prophets, apostles, and other caring leaders. As we turn and face the realities of life, I hope you'll remember this thought from Elder Maxwell. I'm grateful to be one who knows.
