Being a mother is the most important work on this earth. What society glamorizes is likely on the periphery of the Lord's radar. I'm convinced His primary attention is what is going on in the nursery, in the family room, and around the dinner table. While we cheer on athletes, musicians, and television stars, the Lord probably barely notices. He is busy encouraging and inspiring mothers.
