Parenting is a tough job. I often find myself placing expectations on my children that are beyond their abilities. We want them to have the blessings of obedience, but we also need to remember what it was like to be brand new to life's lessons. I need to be sure I let my children know that yes, I will help them through their mistakes with correction, but I also see and seriously appreciate all the good they do.
