Obviously as parents and in our efforts to serve, we will likely spend time with people who aren’t overly interested in us. With that said, lets analyze who we hope to impress or who we hope includes us. Teens (and some adults) sometimes sacrifice time with good friends or family members in order to become part of the “popular” crowd. Usually though, they find out they hurt people who love them in order to impress people who will never notice them. Popularity and fame, like name brand clothes, are usually not worth what you pay for them.
