I'm all for self-improvement, goals, and progression, but there is definitely a time to look back and acknowledge all that you've done. Just as "God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good" you can look back and find comfort in the hours and hours and hours of good that you have done. You should absolutely recognize that most of your mortal life has been spent helping family, friends, neighbors, and strangers. You are better than good, you are literally an angel on earth.
