What air is to the lungs, listening is to the soul. Don’t listen to fix. Don’t listen to debate. Just listen. Nothing tells someone how important they are to you like giving them your full and undivided attention.

Oh, and research shows that men, in general, listen better when they know the listening is going to be over. So just let them know how long you want them to listen for. They’re not rude, they’re just not women.
