I’ll be the first to admit that some marriages can’t survive. If one spouse is not willing to put forth complete effort and sacrifice all that is required, a happy marriage is virtually impossible. Abuse, adultery, and addiction are the deadly poisons of marriage.

With that said, two people who choose to love each other, sacrifice for each other, and work hard for each other are an unstoppable force. You cannot “fall out of love.” Love is a verb, a conscious choice you must make every day. Choose to love your spouse today, put him/her first, compliment and praise them, serve them, do something you know they love; start a cycle of kindness and affection. Pray for help and ask the Lord for help. Like He did with Lazarus, He can bring your marriage out of the darkness and back to life.
