I believe that attaching shame to sin can do much more harm than good. The Holy Ghost strikes a perfect balance between people feeling enough pain to prompt them to act, but not too much to completely discourage them. The Lord’s love, not His disappointment, is the most motivating power in existence. The Lord loves His children. He knows their weaknesses, their sins, and their darkest problems, yet He still adores them. The Lord knows everything about you, all the bad and all the good, and He loves you more than you can comprehend.
