Parenting is a tough job. Do you ever find yourself shocked at your own irrational behavior when you are exhasperated with your kids?

I often find myself placing expectations on my children that are beyond their abilities. I do it to myself too. We want them to have the blessings of obedience, but we also need to remember what it was like to be brand new to life's lessons. Do you remember some of the downright senseless things you did? I need to be sure I let my children know that yes, I will help them through their mistakes with correction, but I also see and seriously appreciate all the good they do.
