Have you ever felt that your trials were simply too much for you to take? That the darkness was so suffocating and the pain so overwhelming, you'd never recover? I'm certain that when our Heavenly Parents told us of trials, we probably said, "Sure, trials, we get it! Let's go!" They probably said, "No, no, this is going to be harder than you think." We responded, "Okay, sure. Trials, got it. Let's go!" They probably shook their head the way we shake our heads when our children don't have the slightest idea what they are getting into.
