Understanding the Lord's plan to refine and shape us doesn't make our trials easier, but it does give purpose to our most difficult and dark days. If you are going through a really tough time, keep moving forward. One day you'll look back and see the Lord's hand where you can't see it right now. You'll look back and see He really was guiding your path when you felt He was being torturously silent.
