Too many of us are confused about how faith and works interact. I’ve been asked, “How good do I have to be in order for the Atonement to kick in?” Or “How much is my part and how much is His part?” They are surprised when I tell them it’s 0% you and 100% Him. They usually follow up with with, “Well why do we repent, keep commandments, and all the other stuff?”

Because He has asked me to and I love Him.
