Speaking through Isaiah, the Lord told us His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. When I read those words in my mind, I hear “Hank, I know you’re upset and scared. Please know that you don’t see what I see. Trust me. This is going to work out.” The question then becomes: Do I believe Him? I believe IN Him. That’s easy. Believing Him is different. Believing in Him is looking at the canyon and knowing He made it. Believing Him is taking the leap across.
