I definitely do not believe EVERY former believer or anyone who disagrees with a church policy is an enemy. There is real pain and there are real wounds from many who have had to step away. We need to listen to those people and learn from their situation. Many (if not most of them) of them are kind and loving. I’m just amazed at how the vast number of the vitriolic and persistent enemies of the Church are former believers and how that correlates with the BoM. The book is divine.
