I met Maddy and her brother John tonight. Maddy was shot multiple times just 2 months ago and at the fireside tonight she bore her testimony and said the closing prayer. What amazing strength of will. I asked her if she wouldn’t mind writing to all of you, she wrote this:

“I’m so blessed to have all this love from everybody and I just wanted to say I love you all. God has a plan for each and every one of you. What you’re going through has a purpose and it’s gonna be hard, life’s not perfect, but all you have to do is keep your Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in mind. Keep going cause trust me He won’t let you down. I’m recovering well and am still getting better and better.”
