We talked about the "deceitfulness of riches" in class today. I shake my head often at my own stupidity. I work hard to give my family more and more things, when what they really want is more time. We all know that the little moments together are what matter most and what we remember most, so why do we continually chase the grand and the expensive? I don't know who said it, but perhaps we spend precious time "buying things we can't afford, with money we don't have, to impress people we don't like."
