I received some advice from a friend a few years ago that changed my life: Know your team. It means to identify those who stick by you in good times and bad times. Those who say great things about you behind your back, who defend you and your reputation when you aren’t around, and seek you out when you are down. When you have a team of friends like that, return that same fierce loyalty to them. They are your team.
