I've read somewhere that miracles are the "natural results of the Messiah's presence." I think that is why we give more freely this time of year, we forgive more easily, we step out of the prison of our own self-centered routines - because His name is up everywhere we go. His picture is up on more walls. Statues of Him are in yards and church grounds. It seems that when we take the pictures of Him down, put the statues away, and take his name off the walls, things go back to the way they were. This is why CHRISTmas truly is a season of miracles!
