I often find myself in awe at the sheer stamina and energy of the mothers I know. Especially around Christmas time. They work, they give, they serve, they get up early and go to bed late, day in and day out, rarely getting a day off. I believe that the roaring applause and accolades our society gives to athletes, musicians, and movie stars is the type of reception heaven gives to mothers.
