As a father I get much more frustrated with my own weaknesses than those of my children. They are learning. They frequently fall short, but it is much more important to me for them to try again than it is for them to dwell on their failures. I imagine the Lord feels the same way about us. Each day is a fresh start to try again. You are not a bad person. You are a good person in a battle to overcome human nature. It will take time, but the Lord will teach and strengthen you. One day you’ll be living in a way you never thought possible.
