My father passed away unexpectedly this last Thursday morning. He left this life in the ideal way. He fell asleep in his favorite recliner and woke up in the Spirit World, likely to a round of golf with his parents.

My mother, siblings, and I are heartbroken. However, our gratitude for the honor of being Mike Smith’s family and thinking of the beautiful reunions that are now taking place tempers our grief.

We believe in a loving God who has a divine plan for each of His children and we are grateful to know with a surety of the Savior’s merciful Atonement which enables our relationships to continue into the eternities.
