I often find myself gaping in awe at the sheer stamina and energy of the mothers I know. They work, they sweat, they give, they serve, day in and day out, rarely getting a day off. I have a feeling that the roaring applause our society gives to athletes, musicians, and movie stars is the type of reception heaven gives to mothers.
