As much as we hope and pray other kids will be nice to our children, let’s teach our children how to be kind to the other kids. Let them know that every word makes a difference. Every smile, high five, fist bump, every compliment can be the difference maker for a student who is struggling. While most are cocky and cruel, they can be the rare one who is confident and kind, the one everyone loves to be around because they make every person feel good about themselves.
