Sometimes our efforts to be helpful can backfire and create problems further down the road. Teaching children and youth about sexuality is one of those areas where we could probably be more careful. I definitely don’t think the topic should be ignored, but it would be wise for us to look at how we are teaching sexuality and if that method may create problems for our students later in life.
