One theme I see running throughout the Doctrine and Covenants this year is that Zion must be chosen by each individual. Zion in our homes, our wards, our communities, is built by daily choices. A kind text to a friend, a front porch visit, reaching out to a new person, forgiving offenses, choosing to not gossip, donating generously, etc - each of these is a another brick in the building of Zion.

Yes, the Lord could build Zion by Himself, but we wouldn’t feel comfortable there because the small and simple acts of the building of Zion which soften the heart and transform the soul. Watch the video clip on @followhimpodcast IGTV. Link in my stories.
