Bitterness

I know this is incredibly difficult. When you’ve been deeply hurt by someone or by a group, it is so natural to slip into a dark mood of anger. The pain almost forces you to see the potential problems in any and every situation. But you can’t stay there my friend. It may make you feel better, but pretty soon that’s how you’ll see every person and opportunity - as more potential pain.

As exhausting as it is, try to let go of the hurt, the injustice, or the need for revenge. Deliberately choose to see the good, the positive, and the potential for happiness. That is when the beauty of living in an imperfect world will open up to you.
