The media of this world can be brutal. It is always screaming that you aren't smart enough, or pretty enough, or rich enough, or (fill in the blank) enough. How long would you stick around someone who constantly barraged you with insults? Perhaps it's time to break up with the world.

Now it's pretty obvious that I'm a huge fan of social media, but if it (or any other distraction) becomes my source of worth, I'm likely on the road to disappointment. Your opinion of yourself and God's opinion of you must be your first priority.
