I recently met a woman who after hurting many people asked me why those same people wouldn’t accept her “like Jesus would.” I think she was surprised when I calmly said, “You are a spiritual manipulator. You use the Lord as a tool to get others to do what you want them to do.”

Being a Christian means we are to be kind, charitable, forgiving, and peaceful. Being a Christian also means defending those who cannot defend themselves and keeping promises, even if we must sacrifice our comfort to do so.
