The Lord has counseled us over and over to study. He has asked us to worship him with our might, MIND, and strength. That means having an intelligent and informed faith. One of my all time favorite quotes is from the late apostle Richard L. Evans: “It is good to be faithful. It is better to be faithful and competent.” That is a major goal of the Follow Him podcast; we want to help our listeners become more familiar and conversant with history and scripture so they are more readily available for them to apply in their daily lives and significant trials.
