I’ve made this mistake a few times in my life. I meet someone cheerful or optimistic and automatically think they’ve probably never seen hard times. Then I hear their story and realize my life has been easy compared to theirs. A bright smile has likely seen dark days. I’m going to do better. Instead of judging others, I’m going to be inspired by them.
